Dumbass of the Day: President Obama

I am so pissed off at our president right now that I probably shouldn't write anything for public consumption...

... but that never stopped me before.

When I voted for this guy, when I supported him and wrote a glowing resume for him (that came up on top of Google for "Barack Obama's resume" and "Obama's CV" and other such terms, got viewed tens of thousands of times during the campaign, surely swinging a vote or two his way) I thought I was supporting a leader, not a goddamn kissass suckup piece-of-shit politician who would screw over the middle and working classes to further enrich the greedy sons-of-bitches who caused this mess.

Alas, the bastard fooled me. Fucking politicians...

Why am I so mad? Because I want a president who will say something like:

“We had to struggle with the old enemies of peace-business and financial monopoly, speculation, reckless banking, class antagonism, sectionism, war profiteering. They had begun to consider the Government of the United States as a mere appendage to their own affairs. We know that Government by organized money is just as dangerous as Government by organized mob. Never before in history have these forces been so united against one candidate as they stand today. They are unanimous in their hatred for me - and I welcome their hatred. I should like to have it said of my first administration that in it the forces of selfishness and of lust for power met their match. I should like to have it said of my second administration that in it these forces met their master."

That was FDR, a real president who set the stage for 70 years of prosperity, most of which was undone by the rich-friendly and working-class-assfuck policies of the Reagan, Bush, and even Clinton administrations.

What do we hear from Obama, who promised to protect what's left of our tattered social safety net and not to tax the middle class?

Obama, in a Feb. 9 Oval Office interview, said that a presidential commission on the budget needs to consider all options for reducing the deficit, including tax increases and cuts in spending on entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare.

"The whole point of it is to make sure that all ideas are on the table," the president said in the interview with Bloomberg BusinessWeek, which will appear on newsstands Friday. "So what I want to do is to be completely agnostic, in terms of solutions."

First of all, not all ideas are "on the table." Defense spending is not on the table. Marijuana legalization is not on the table. Taxing the very richest Americans is not on the table.

Second, Some ideas don't deserve to be on the table, you gutless little freak! Some ideas are evil and stupid, like further burdening the middle class and screwing the working people out of their hard-earned Social Security and Medicare. Why don't you become a leader like FDR and take on the monied interests who caused this shit? People might not have much of a grasp of big numbers, but we know that we're struggling, and we know that the very rich just keep getting disgustingly richer at our expense.

Third, why are we allowing Wall Street con artists to pay themselves record bonuses just one year after we and our grandchildren bailed them out to the tune of $800 billion? Why are we continuing to send poor people who can't find jobs off to kill other poor people in countries on the other side of the world at a cost of $700 billion a year? Why is the defense budget untouchable? Why can't we ask the richest among us to pony up an extra 3 percent in taxes? The back of my envelope says that if you cut DoD by $200 billion a year and tax the richest one percent an extra 3 percent, we get back to Clinton-style surpluses and prosperity in a year or two.

But, oh no, let's burden the middle and working classes. Let's ask them to make the sacrifice. Let's leave that "on the table," but refuse to put defense cuts or higher taxes for the rich on the table and -- make no mistake -- those two options are not on the table. Neither is marijuana legalization, though that would save us billions every year and probably bring in some revenue too.

How fucking clueless are you people? Financially, we're fucking bleeding to death out here! Stand up to the endlessly greedy and corrupt class that caused this. If the president of the United States of America won't stand up for the people who worked hard to get him elected and who believed in him, it's time for a revolution.

Biggerst Dumbass of all

That makes you, and half the country bigger dumbass'es than O'socialist. You stupid fools who voted for this lying commie deserve the country he's brinning our way. And right before the angry mob puts the gun to head and asks you "who did you vote for", you try telling the truth. Idiot, politicaly correct tree hugging fagots!

Who let you out?

Shouldn't you be in remedial spelling class right now?

Anyway, good luck at the nuthouse. Hope your treatment goes well.

Couldn't agree more

I too "sorta" fell into the Obama hoopla. I cannot say the same anymore. This is the president who did the exact opposite of almost everything he promised on his campaign trail. I am disgusted to be an American. If I ever get the cash to do so, I am leaving this place. I don't know how much longer I can take this shit.

Don't leave

It's not going to be any better anywhere else if we don't try to make things right.

wow

The back of my envelope says that if you cut DoD by $200 billion a year and tax the richest one percent an extra 3 percent, we get back to Clinton-style surpluses and prosperity in a year or two.

if this is true, then it is quite infuriating.
